In 2012 I taught a cooking class in my backyard called “Welcome to the Lentilhood." Since then I’ve taught versions of it in kitchens, classrooms, and community spaces, always focused on showing how versatile and delicious lentils can be in everyday cooking. 

“Lentilhood” became a shorthand for that spirit - food, learning, and a sense of belonging, with a little playfulness built in.

We know lentils and other pulses are good for both human and planetary health. This is one small way to celebrate and promote them!
